The composition of the roofing package is similar to the Single-ply TPO system composition, however, replacing the top layer in TPO by EPDM membrane.
EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene) is a synthetic rubber membrane available in white and black colors and thicknesses 1,14mm (45.000), 1,52mm (60.000), 1,90mm (75.000) and 2,28mm (90.000).
The EPDM membranes are available in the following variations:
SURE-SEAL: Fully adhered system, ideal for roof low projects and steep sloped for a variety of platforms.
SURE-TOUGH: Reinforced and resistant polyester, sandwiched between two layers of strong EPDM membrane with great versatility of installation.
SURE-WHITE: Unique system available in white and environmentally friendly.
Energy Efficiency:
Reduces power consumption in air conditioning systems. The white membrane holds an initial solar reflectance of 0.79 and a solar emissivity of 0.90 in ENERGY STAR terms.
