INSULATION

PIR

Rigid panel insulation consisting of a polyisocyanurate foam core and high performance coated glass fiber high density closed cell laminated coatings.

Also known as geomembranes applications, the PIR is resistant to high temperatures, low combustion and easy demoulding.

Is a thermosetting plastic, obtained in the same way that the PUR (with some chemical composition and differential), also features excellent heat insulating and mechanical properties. Technically, differs from PUR by presenting better heat resistance at high temperatuas.

Geomembranes applications foams (PIR) have superior mechanical properties and show excellent thermal stability and little degradation in temperatures below 270 C, supporting working temperature of up to 200ºc, and their thermal conductivity of LD ≤ 0.023 W/mK.
