Kalzip AluPlusSolar solar panels are the first to truly enable integrated rooftop renewable energy generation using flexible photovoltaic (PV) laminates, while providing maximum creative freedom for challenging architecture.

A wide variety of designs can be accommodated, as the solar laminate is permanently attached to permanent Kalzip aluminum seam panels. This integrated system allows individually designed roof elements with straight, convex or concave shapes.

Without the need for mounting frames, the solar cells are flat with the surface of the roof and convey a unique expressive character. PV laminates can blend discreetly into the Kalzip roof profile or become a design feature.

 

System AluPlusSolar

AluPlusSolar solar panels are the first to truly enable integrated rooftop renewable energy generation using flexible photovoltaic (PV) laminates, while providing maximum creative freedom for challenging architecture.

Solar laminates are flexible and extremely durable. Depending on the particular design of the cover, they are permanently attached to the zipped covers in the concave or convex formats.

The flexibility of the AluPlusSolar system makes it possible to accommodate half-point or flat vaults, as well as other roofing projects.

The AluPlusSolar is offered as a fully integrated system, including inverter and accessories, over profiled cover. The solar film, which is offered in two lengths, is laminated in the factory and permanently attached to the outer surface of the covers, and it is responsible for generating the energy in the system.

Silicon solar cells use triple junction technology to generate more energy under diffuse light conditions than crystalline solar cells with the same nominal energy capacity.

SolarClad

 
Roofway by Kalzip SolarClad is a non-integrated alternative that provides a retro-fit solution for installations in existing structures or new developments of new construction.

Photovoltaic (PV) laminates consist of extremely robust amorphous silicon thin film modules bonded to aluminum support panels to ensure high quality and fast installation. The panels can be installed in any Kalzip standing seam system without penetrating the roof and can also be conventionally mounted on other elements of the system such as trapezoidal panels.

The lightweight units are suitable for most forms of roof, giving architects and engineers total freedom of creation in design.
 
                                             

 
Solar Modules

Solar modules consist of several connected solar cells. The connection of solar cells increases electricity and current; The number of solar cells in the module determines its output. All solar modules generate direct current (DC) from solar radiation.

Both the monocrystalline and polycrystalline modules have a low area / output ratio.

The thin film amorphous modules used in the AluPlusSolar system are extremely light and flexible and can be integrated into any roof structure. They are also more environmentally friendly and have higher power outputs. Modules with different outputs are available for Kalzip solar energy systems.
